The genesis of Responding to the Word: My daily letters to God started as a personal journal. A close friend encourage me to publish it so that I could share this with others. The format gives you a rounded approach to the sections of scripture in a specific order, so that over time, you work through most of the Bible as it will draw you into the simple pleasure of time in the Word, time in prayer, and reflection on life applications unique to you and your journey. As I reflected on scripture and journaled responses, the questions came to me on my own journey, so I included them, with a suggested life application every day. Do not just "hear and meditate,” put God’s words into action.
